As if enjoying the beautiful beach in Fort Morgan isn’t already enough, sometimes you’re lucky enough to also be there while the Blue Angels are practicing.
On one of our trips this summer, we enjoyed 2 days of them practicing up and down the beach. Sometimes in group formations, such as above, sometimes in pairs, such as below, and sometimes a single jet practicing solo runs. There were times where they flew almost directly over us when we were enjoying floating in the water.
Ironically, and somewhat disappointing, apparently there were some people actually complaining about them flying up and down the beach during their vacation. For us, it just added another level of enjoyment to be enjoying floating in the beautiful, warm gulf waters and enjoying the show!
The Blue Angels are just one more reason why we love the Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores, Alabama!
